temple of the sagrada familia barcelona

Architect: Antoni Gaudí

Temple of the Sagrada Familia (Barcelona)

The construction of the Sagrada Familia began in 1882 and Antoni Gaudi devoted 40 years of his life to this project, until his death in 1926.

The brilliant Catalan architect manages to combine architecture, poetry, religion, botany and astronomy. Built under the concept of an expiatory temple, the Sagrada Familia was financed from the outset exclusively with alms from private individuals, as continues to be the case thanks to donations received from a large number of admirers of Gaudí's masterpiece.

The participation of Mabelux Technic in the works of this basilica, symbol of the city of Barcelona and declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 2005, has so far consisted in the bending of stainless steel profiles of the Janisol Art series from the Jansen brand.
